Best Decadent Chocolate Brownie Recipe
The public holiday on Monday allowed us some time to play in the kitchen and test some chocolate brownie recipes.
This recipe was for the winning batch. The decadent chocolate flavours were just out of this world. Chocolaty with a soft and moist centre.
The recipe is fairly easy and do not require a high level of technical skills.
What you need:
150g Unsalted Butter
150g COCOAFAIR Dark Chocolate (we used a combination of 71% Dark Chocolate with Salt and 95% Dark Chocolate with Hazelnuts)
1 & 1/2 cup of Castor Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 Cup Baking Flour
1/4 cup of COCOAFAIR Organic Cocoa Powder
2 tsp Instant Coffee (always use quality instant coffee)
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celsius (we used a fan-forced oven, if you are using a normal oven you might need to increase the temperature by about 10 degrees)
Brush the baking tray with some butter or oil
Fill a small pot with water and heat until it simmers. Break the chocolate apart and place it in a heatproof bowl which will sit nicely into the pot without touching the water. Slowly melt the chocolate and butter. Once melted remove from the heat
In a large bowl whisk the eggs, castor sugar and vanilla essence until combined
Whisk in the chocolate mixture until well combined.
Mix in the sifted flour, cocoa powder and instant coffee
Bake for 20-25 mins.
Remove from the oven and let cool.
For our next batch, we will add some more roasted hazelnuts for a nuttier crunch.
Please let us know if you tried this and share some photos.
